Debbie Massey-Schneweis, Dance, Musical Theater
Debbie Massey is an award winning free lance choreographer and dance teacher with over 20 yrs experience in the Omaha area. Specializing in musical theatre, tap, jazz, ballet, pageantry and show choir she is also a regular performer on local theatre stages. She will be seen in the upcoming fall production of “The Drowsy Chaperone” at the Omaha Community Playhouse. Other past OCP productions include Legally Blonde, Chicago, Guys & Dolls, Gypsy and Thoroughly Modern Millie.
Debbie is the resident musical choreographer for several local high schools as well as Papillion LaVista Community Theatre where she just completed the summer musical “ANNIE”. She choreographed and starred as Anytime Annie in the multi TAG nominated “42nd Street” in summer of 2013. Recently Debbie was named “Outstanding Choreographer” for 2013-14 by the Theatre Arts Guild Awards (TAG) for her work on 42nd Street.
Debbie has been a member of the SNJ Faculty since 2007 and is available for choreography engagements as well as private lessons.
