Leana Wolt, Voice

M.M. and B.M., Vocal Performance, University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Leana Wolt, soprano, obtained her Master of Music in vocal performance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2016, as well as her Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2014. She is delighted to teach in her home state, here at SNJ.

Although she is a classically trained soprano, Leana also enjoys singing and teaching genres such as musical theatre, jazz, and pop.  She instructs a variety of ages/levels, as well, for she has experience with elementary students through adult beginners.

Leana is an active performing artist who is currently engaged at Opera Omaha. Her stage credits include Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Sister Genevieve in Suor Angelica, Annina in La Traviata, and Papagena in Die Zauberflöte. Leana is also employed as a church musician in Lincoln and Omaha.
