Morgan Louderback, Piano,Voice
Bachelor of Music Studies, University of Nebraska-Lincoln
Morgan Louderback is excited to bring her teaching talents to the students at SNJ Studio. Music is her first love and she is passionate about fostering that love in her students. Whether it’s as a professional singer, or professional accompanist, Morgan has been involved in music for over 30 years and she is bringing all of that knowledge and experience to the students of SNJ Studios.
Morgan’s passion and love of music was fostered at a very young age, where she spent many hours sitting at her grandma’s feet learning from a master pianist and organist. With strong family encouragement she began studying piano at age 6 and continues to study to this day. She began playing and singing in her church at age 12, and then at age 16 she accepted her first paid accompanying position at Trinity United Methodist Church. Morgan started her singing career in school and church choirs and after high school at the age of 18, Morgan began studying voice with a professional musician in Omaha. Through her private voice teacher, Morgan is a contract singer with a professional choir and has had the opportunity to perform in some pretty amazing venues including Carnegie Hall.
Over the last few years, Morgan has been the pianist for Elkhorn, LaVista and Ralston middle schools. In addition to her work with these schools, Morgan played in the pit orchestra for the Omaha South’s performance of Sister Act, for Elkhorn South’s performance of Mary Poppins, and most recently for Elkhorn High School’s production of Newsie’s, where she played in the pit orchestra and was the primary show pianist. Additionally Morgan accompanied for District Music contest for Elkhorn and Ralston students in 2018. Morgan is currently the primary pianist in the vocal music department at Elkhorn High School (Go Antlers!!)
Thanks to her position at Elkhorn High School, Morgan, her husband Nate and their children Camille and Nate Jr have planted roots in Elkhorn, NE. She is excited to share her knowledge and experience with the next generation of musicians to help them love music as much as she does!
