B.M. E., Vocal Music, Hastings College
Tyler Meuret received his B.M.E. in Vocal Music Education at Hastings College where he was active in the Men’s Choir, College Choir, Entertainment Arts Ensemble, and multiple theater productions.

Tyler is currently the accompanist for the Ralston High School Vocal Music Department. He accompanies all three Ralston show choirs, Ram Choir and directs the pit ensemble for the musical each year. He is also the director of the Ralston Middle School girl’s show choir, Resonance.

He began his teaching career as the Vocal Music Director for Gothenburg Public Schools where he directed 4-12 grade choirs, a middle school honor choir, the high school musical, and a multi-grade elementary spring program each year. He was instrumental in starting a program teaching high school students to sing the National Anthem at various community and sporting events. Tyler has performed the National Anthem at the College World Series, and currently performs at various Husker sporting events each year.

Having begun his vocal training with Joel Johnston here at SNJ Studios, he is excited to be back teaching at SNJ. A former member of Millard West’s “West In The Groove,”, he choregraphs for Ralston’s show choirs as well as other middle programs in the area and teaches show choir audition prep lessons here at the studio.
