Tyler Meuret, Voice, Show Choir Clinician

Tyler Meuret received his B.M.E. in Vocal Music Education at Hastings College where he was active in the Men’s Choir, College Choir, Entertainment Arts Ensemble, and multiple theater productions. 

He began his teaching career as the Vocal Music Director for Gothenburg Public Schools. He directed choir for grades 4-12, including high school musicals, a middle school honor choir and a multi-grade elementary spring program each year. He was instrumental in starting a program teaching high school students to sing the National Anthem at various community and sporting events.

Tyler recently moved back to the Omaha area where he will be accompanying and teaching at Liberty Middle School in Papillion. Tyler has performed the National Anthem at the College World Series, and various Husker sporting events.  A former member of Millard West’s “West In The Groove,”, he will continue to lend his talents as a free-lance choreographer for various middle and high school programs in the area, as well as audition prep lessons here at the studio. 

Having begun his vocal training with Joel Johnston here at SNJ Studios, he is excited to be back teaching!
