Blackbird Rock Co. just wrapped up a very successful inaugural
2021-22 season with performances throughout the Omaha area!
WE HOPE YOU WILL JOIN US AS WE CONTINUE OUR JOURNEY!
It is our mission to provide students with an authentic and educational rock band experience. Through this program musicians in grades 8-12 are offered opportunities to gain further musical knowledge, grow their individual skill sets, learn how to collaborate within a group setting, and perform at local venues!
BRC encourages the celebration of rock music through the ages and song selections will vary widely. Musicians must be ready to focus on learning repertoire at a fast pace. Dedication to practicing outside of rehearsal is crucial to the success of the program.
2022-2023 Season
October 5, 2022 – March 28, 2023
Blackbird Rock Co. members must commit to the entire season.
Rehearsals are Tuesdays, 7:00-9:30 PM
Rehearsals will take place at our Millard studio – 5244 S. 136th Street, Omaha 68137
Performances will be scheduled throughout the season
Tuition
Tuition is $598.00, plus a group t-shirt
Tuition Payment Options
Pay in full at the first rehearsal on October 5, 2022
Payment plan:
$100 deposit due at first rehearsal on October 4, 2022
4 monthly payments of $124.50 on Nov 15, Dec 15, Jan 15, Feb 15
Eligibility
Musicians in grades 8-12 are welcome to audition. It is not a requirement that you be an SNJ Studio private student to audition.

AUDITIONS BY APPOINTMENT
Please fill out the Audition Application below. We will contact you to schedule an audition.
Each musician will have a ten-minute audition time slot
Audition times must be reserved in advance
Auditions will take place at our Millard studio – 5244 S. 136th Street, Omaha 68137
Audition Requirements
Each audition will consist of playing or singing a rock song of your choice and a short dialogue with the panel about skill level, music background, and any other inquiries.
Please prepare the following for your audition:
A rock song of your own choosing, from any era, that showcases your skills and independence with your individual instrument
Please bring your own track
Mics, keyboard, and drum kit will be provided for auditions. Guitarists and bassists will need to bring their own instrument/amp
