JOIN OUR NEW BAND EXPERIENCE FOR YOUNG MUSICIANS IN GRADES 5-7
Hey there, aspiring rockers! Are you ready to unleash your musical talents and have a blast? We've got something awesome just for you! Our mission is to bring you an incredible band experience that's fun and educational.
If you're in grade 5-7 this program is perfect for you. Get ready to dive into the world of rock music and discover your inner rock star! You'll have the chance to learn more about playing in a band setting, improve your skills, make friends, and even perform in front of a live audience!
We love all kinds of rock music from different times and styles. From classic hits to modern jams, we'll explore a wide range of awesome, age appropriate songs. Together, we'll learn and rehearse them at a fast pace, so get ready to rock out!
Remember, dedication is key to your success in the program. Practicing outside of our sessions is super important. The more you practice, the more you'll shine on stage.

2023-2024 SEASON - October 2, 2023-April 20, 2024
Bluebird members must commit to the entire season.
Rehearsals are Mondays, 7:00-8:30PM
Rehearsals will take place at our Millard studio – 5244 S. 136th Street, Omaha 68137
Performances will be scheduled throughout the season
Option 1 - One time payment of $499.00
Option 2 - Six monthly payments of $83.50 (October 2023-March 2024)
Musicians in grades 5-7 are welcome to audition. It is not a requirement that you be an SNJ Studio private student to be in Bluebird.
The following are needed: Female Vocalists, Male Vocalists, Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Drums, Keyboard
AUDITIONS - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2023 BEGINNING AT NOON
Each musician will have a ten-minute audition time slot
Audition times must be reserved in advance
Auditions will take place at our Millard studio – 5244 S. 136th Street, Omaha 68137
Each audition will consist of playing or singing a rock song of your choice and a short dialogue with the panel about skill level, music background, and any other inquiries.
Please prepare the following for your audition:
A rock song of your own choosing, from any era, that showcases your skills and independence with your individual instrument
Please bring your own track
Mics, keyboard, and drum kit will be provided for auditions. Guitarists and bassists will need to bring their own instrument/amp
