MUSICAL THEATRE
At SNJ Studio of Music, we believe every child has a place on stage.
Through singing, acting, and movement, students build confidence, creativity, teamwork, and
communication skills - all while experiencing the excitement of live theatre.
We offer musical theatre classes, summer camps, and performance opportunities
for students of all ages and experience levels.
The SNJ Players
Where Young Performers Discover Their Place on Stage
The SNJ Players, our premier musical theatre performance program, offers a progressive theatre
experience for students in Grades 2–12. Organized into three age-based performing troupes,
the program is designed to help students grow in confidence, creativity, and performance skills
through every stage of their theatrical development.
We believe every student deserves meaningful opportunities to perform while developing
skills that last a lifetime, both on stage and beyond. Through professional instruction in
singing, acting, movement, character development, and stagecraft, students build
confidence, collaborate with others, and experience the excitement and joy of live theatre.
Directed by Omaha's experienced theatre professionals, the SNJ Players give students the
opportunity to experience every step of bringing a musical to the stage,
from rehearsals to opening night, in a supportive, high-quality production environment.
Act I (Grades 2–4)
Our youngest performers are introduced to the exciting world of musical theatre through two fully staged
productions per school year designed especially for elementary-aged students. Act I builds confidence, creativity,
and foundational performance skills in a fun, encouraging environment.
Act II (Grades 5–8)
As students grow, Act II offers more challenging productions, expanded performance opportunities,
and deeper artistic development. Performers continue strengthening their skills while
working as an ensemble to bring two full-scale musicals to life each school year.
Act III (Grades 9–12)
Act III is our advanced musical theatre revue company for dedicated high school performers.
This unique format provides more opportunities for featured solos, small ensembles,
and dynamic production numbers while continuing to develop advanced vocal, acting, and performance skills.
Featuring a diverse repertoire of Broadway favorites, Act III offers the chance for every performer to shine.
