Hillary is thrilled to be part of the SNJ studio faculty. A native of South Mississippi, she received a B.M concentrating in Music Education from the University of Mississippi in 2016, and a M.M. from the University of Southern Mississippi concentrating in Vocal Performance in 2018.Â
Hillary has taught general music at Kehoe-France Northshore in Covington, LA for six years with ages ranging from preschool to 7th grade. During her time at KFN, Hillary also held the position as Theatre director. It was a pleasure seeing her students grow into confident and well-rounded individuals while directing musicals such as: Mary Poppins Jr, Matilda Jr, Lion King Jr, and many more. At the encouragement of her pedagogy professors and voice teacher, Hillary began teaching private lessons which then blossomed into a thriving private studio during her time in Louisiana. Â
Hillary's performance background includes ensemble performances with the New Orleans Opera Chorus for six seasons; performances include: Turandot, La bohème,The Blind , Maid of Orleans, Die Entführung aus dem Serail, and Le Nozze di Figaro. She also has ensemble performances with Mississippi Opera Chorus including The Mikado and the Mississippi premiere of Turandot.Â
 Â
While not teaching or singing, Hillary enjoys spending time with her husband and fur baby, Ellie Blue. She is an avid reader and loves to explore new places. Hillary is looking forward to seeing what fun Omaha and the rest of the midwest has to offer.Â
