Vince Giambattista

Vince is a guitarist, singer-songwriter, and educator with more than 20 years of teaching experience in the Omaha area. Rooted in rock and hard rock, he also draws on blues, folk, pop, and R&B, and is equally at home on electric and acoustic guitar.

He has performed with local bands since 1994 and is featured on numerous Omaha studio recordings. Current projects include Seattleite, a ’90s grunge tribute, and the indie-pop group Fox Music. He also performs as a solo acoustic artist around the metro and works as a live-sound and recording engineer from his home studio.

In lessons, Vince builds a solid foundation in technique and then puts it to work in the styles students actually want to play, from classic rock and blues to modern pop. Students leave with songs they can play, not just exercises, whether they are picking up the guitar for the first time or getting ready to play with a band.
