Lorren Rahn

Voice

B.M.E., Music Education, Midland University.

Lorren Rahn graduated from Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska, in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, specializing in vocal music. During her time at Midland, she was an active student leader—serving as Vice President of the Pi Epsilon sorority, President of the Collegiate Music Educators Association, and a member of the theatre fraternity. She performed in multiple choral ensembles, directed the 2018 Spotlight production, and helped coordinate the 2018 Gospel’s Honor Choir.

After graduation, Lorren began her career as the K–12 Vocal Music Director, Show Choir Director, and Play Production Director at Southern Public Schools, where she launched a brand-new show choir program that quickly earned awards and recognition. She later returned to Omaha to continue inspiring young musicians.

For the past three years, Lorren has served as the Vocal Music and Show Choir Director at Benson High School in the Omaha Public Schools. Under her leadership, the program has doubled in size and achieved multiple ensemble and soloist awards.

Beyond the classroom, Lorren has choreographed for middle and high school choirs across Omaha, served as a clinician for Title I schools, and advocated for equitable access to arts education. In recognition of her work, she was honored with the 2022 Marquis Who’s Who Award for Music Education and Arts Advocacy.

When she’s not teaching, Lorren enjoys spending time with her four cats, watching Kitchen Nightmares, and playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends. She is excited to return to SNJ Studios as a faculty member and looks forward to meeting her students!
